Christian Education for all age groups is offered at 9:50 am each Sunday:
Nursery is available for newborns to age three years.
Faith Journey is the descriptive name of our Sunday School for three-year-olds through 5th graders.
The 6th, 7th and 8th grade group is called Chi Rho. They meet together for topical discussion on Sunday mornings and participate in the many Youth Group activities throughout the year.
Highschoolers are in CYF (Christian Youth Fellowship), which recently completed a study of world religions, including field trips to other houses of worship.
We have two adult Christian Education classes on Sunday morning. The Koinonia Class is the younger group; most are parents of young children. They choose their own curriculum; they have studied books of the Bible, and they have studied books on relationships.
The Cornerstone adult class also chooses their own topics. Their current study is entitled, Confronting the Controversies: Biblical Perspectives on Tough Issues.
From time to time, the Senior Minister offers a special series called Disciples 101, which teaches about our faith heritage as the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), our congegation's ministry, and the basics of being a Christian.
Each year a Young Disciples Class is held during the weeks preceding Easter for children who are ready to learn more about their faith, baptism, and church membership. Children in grades 4 through 6 are generally the right age and maturity level for this class.
